  • New Features
    • Apply Discounts to Items Converted to Store Inventory
      • In the past, if a consignment item had discount schedules, when that item was converted to store inventory, it would not continue to discount if there were more tiers based in the discount schedule. Now the store admin can optionally choose to have discount schedules still be applied to consignment items converted to store inventory. This is found under Settings > Options > Consignment > Apply Discounts to Items Converted to Store Inventory.
    • Options to display Extended Item Information
      • Some companies rely less on an item's Description field, and more on an item's extended information like Category, Brand, Family Group, Size, Color, and Consignment Item#. so, we are making it possible for store admins to optionally turn on this extended item information so that it appears in various places in the application in addition to item Description.
        • New Receipt fields
          • Show Consignor's ID and Item # on receipt (e.g. 100-12). This is enabled in Settings > Options > Receipts > Receipt Item Format > Show Consignor's Item # with Account.
          • Show Extended Item Info on receipt. By default the receipt typically displays an item's description and Consignor ID(if it is a consigned item). With this option on, the receipt also displays Category, Brand, Family Group, Size and Color where those fields have values entered. This is enabled in Settings > Options > Receipts > Receipt Item Format > Show Extended Item Info.
        • Checkout
          • If the store admin enables Show Extended Item Info for Receipts (see above), then the extended item info will also appear in the Checkout item's description.
        • Transaction Detail under Transaction History
          • If the store admin enables Show Extended Item Info for Receipts (see above), then the extended item info will also appear in the Transaction detail screen under Transaction History.
        • Consignor Account Activity
          • Store admin can now optionally choose to display extended item information in the Account Activity listing for consignors. For example, with this option turned Off, any account activity regarding a consignment item would only show the item's description. With this option turned On, that same listing would now show the item's Description, Consignment item #, and its Category. This is found under Settings > Options > Consignment > Show Extended Item Info in Account Activity.
    • Search by Phone Number
      • Users can now search for consignors and customers by phone number on the Consignor and Customer tabs. However, the format of the phone number currently matters. If you enter your customer phone numbers like xxx-yyy-zzzz, then you must search using that format, i.e. 111-333-5555.
    • New Label Printing Options on Inventory Add History / Batch Screen
      • User can now print one label per inventory item (the default), or print labels by quantity for each inventory item by checking the Print Total Quantity checkbox. This behavior is the same now as the label printing option on the Consignment tab.
    • Sold Inventory Report Enhancement
      • User can now add Terminal to the Sold Inventory Report and also filter the report results by Terminal.
    • API Enhancements
      • API users can now query inventory with two query options that are designed to work together:
        • Adding the "modifiedSince" parameter to an API search causes the query to only include items that have been modified since a particular date and time. Modified implies that the item's record was created, updated, or marked Inactive. For example, adding this parameter to the API search ("modifiedSince": "2014-07-26T00:00:00-05:00") would return a store's items that were changed since July 26, 2014 at midnight US Central time). See the API documentation for more details
        • By default, items that have been "deleted," or, more accurately, marked Inactive, are not included in API search results. By setting this to true, Inactive items are included in the results. The state value of an item is now included in the results. The possible state values are "A" (active) and "I" (inactive). For example: "includeInactiveItems: "true"
    • Consignor Access
      • Return Wait Periods
        • If a store has an item return waiting period, then the store admin can optionally set that period for Consignor Access and change how information is displayed to the consignor based on that waiting period. For example, if a store using Consignor Access sets a Return Waiting Period of 3 days, then the following would occur in Consignor Access:
          • Any consignment items sold in the past 3 days:
            • Will not be included in the consignor's balance. Once 3 days have passed, the consignment items would now be included in the consignor's balance.
            • Will not be included in the consignor's account activity report. Once 3 days have passed, the consignment items would now be included in the consignor's account activity report.
            • Will be included in the consignor's Consigned Items report, however, items sold in the past 3 days will be marked "PENDING RETURN PERIOD" instead of "SOLD".
        •  The store admin can enable Return Wait Periods in Settings > Options > Consignor Access > Return Waiting Period in Days.
    • Added "Plus" and "Unisex" as Family Group options for clothing items.
  • Fixes
    • Corrected where exporting inventory data to CSV file did not include splits on consignment items.
    • Adjusted End of Day and End of Month calculations to increase accuracy.

  • No labels
